"16 South", a feature film written by Texas Writer Producer and Actress, Hope Kelley, is now in pre-production in the San Antonio/Austin area.
Directed by Jeffrey Travis, "16 South" has thus far cast the legendary country music artist with 22 number one hits and 6-time Grammy winner, Randy Travis, in the role of George Baker. Luke Benward ("How to Eat Fried Worms", "Dear John", When We Were Soldiers") has been cast to play 18 year old Daniel Champion.
Danielle Campbell ("The Prom", "StarStruck") has been cast as 18 year old Katie Baker.
Hope Kelley, Daniel DeWitt, Aarron Benward, Donald Teague,Tom Dvorak, Matthew Ziff and Lorraine Bencivengo Ziff have also been cast in various roles, with other principal roles being cast shortly.
An exciting soundtrack is also attached to the film. Some of the soundtrack artists already committed to the soundtrack include; Randy Travis, Michael McDonald, Aaron Benward, Thomas Dvorak, Daniel DeWitt, with others in negotiations to follow.
